Tricep Workout with Dumbbells

Tricep exercises can be done in many ways but a tricep workout with dumbbells is one of the best ways to really blast them.  There are quite a few different tricep workouts that you can do with dumbbells to develop each different part of the muscle.  A tricep workout will also help other parts of you body get stronger.  The best chest workout routine will always have tricep exercises because the tricep is the secondary muscle used when doing bench press.  Tricep exercises with dumbbells are my favorite so lets look at some of the workouts you can do with some adjustable dumbbells.

Tricep Extensions

Dumbbell Tricep ExtensionsA good home dumbbell workout routine you can do is to do tricep extensions.  Take a dumbbell in one hand and extend your arm until it is straight and parallel with the floor.  From here you will lower it back down bending only at the elbow.  These are also known as tricep kickbacks.

Tricep Dips
Tricep DipsAnother great exercise are tricep dips. You can do these by putting your hands on the edge of the bed and lower yourself down and then pushing yourself back up. You can make them harder by putting your feet up on a chair. If that is still easy, try putting a weight on your lap while you do them.
